Bolton Cancer Voices are set to appear on television in the Community Channel’s ‘Brilliant Britain’ series after opening their rehearsal to the cameras last month.
The programme is scheduled to air in November.
Karen Elliott Chair of Bolton Cancer Voices said:
‘This was a brilliant experience for us, which we hope will inspire and motivate others whose lives have been touched by cancer.
The Choir has such a positive, fun environment we just wanted to share our experience and hopefully reap the benefits in terms of increased recruitment, taking us nearer our 70 membership optimum.’
Bolton Cancer Voices is the North West’s only dedicated Choir for cancer patients and cancer survivors. The Choir is currently rehearsing their festive programme and can be seen in concert in the Victoria Hall on Saturday 6thDecember when they will once again be joined by the renowned Besses o’ th’ Barn Band in ‘Jingle Bell Sing-A-Long’ – a family night of carols and popular Christmas tunes.
